On April 2019 I had the opportunity to visit India and distribute hundreds of budget Bibles to those less fortunate, in this case, orphan children and children living in extreme poverty. We visited several small orphanages, some Christian and some Hindu. Unfortunately, some of the Hindu orphanages refused to let us in, in spite of the fact that we had previously arranged our visit. But for the rest of the orphanages, the experience was unforgettable. 

One visit was to the slums of Southern India, where the children live in extreme poverty, they often lack clean drinking water and the majority of them walk around barefoot all day long. However, the saddest thing is that they are living without hope for a better life, both in this life and in the one to come. 

I had the opportunity to share with them a short story about Jesus Christ, and then give out Bibles. Due to my limited stay in India I could not personally distribute all of the Bibles, however, we have a couple of volunteers that will continue to donate these Bibles as we purchase more, thanks to your help!
